I don't understand why some people drive under the influence. I wanted to know under what brain mechanism they decide to drive after drinking alcohol, so I googled and figured it out. When people are sober, every part of their brains functions well without any defection and it makes them aware that they are not supposed to drive drunk. But alcohol impairs our abilities to make reasonable decisions for driving safely. It was also surprising that it was not his first time and he even had his driver's licence rebuked in 2007. He obviously had some issues with alcohol and he, himself, must be suffering from his bad drinking habits. I suppose he should get some help immediately from an alcohol rehab center or something. Also, the government laws for drunk driving offenses should be amended to punish them a lot more strictly and harshly. Personally, I believe that what he has done should be dealth with more seriously as much as the responsibilities he is taking as a public figure, because celebrities can wield such an enormous power and have social influences on others, including young generations.
