2. We highly appreciate the well-balanced position of our Chinese friends with the Ukrainian crisis./ We've made clear our concerns about the depth of China's alignment and ties with Russia./ Attemps to create a unipolar world have recently taken an absolutely ugly shape.

3. The article clearly shows the different interests of the U.S., Russia, China, and India, and their positions towards Ukraine amid a war with Russia. Obviously, Russia wants to have a close ally with China and Russia, as they are purchasing their oil and gas unlike the other boycotting western countries, which provides relief to Russia. It was a bit shocking that Putin used very straightforward and provocative words when thanking China and India for being on their side against Ukraine. It seemed quite inappropriate to me as it will put Russia in a quandary by taking a risk of firming up their position as an outcast. Also, it is not a good sign at all to Russia that their troopers were recently retreated from one of their warzones in Ukraine. Anyways, I believe we all need to remember the biggest sacrifice made in the Russo-Ukrainian war, such as innocent Ukrainian citizens who are fleeing from their war-torn hometowns.
